Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has introduced a completely new series in India, the Redmi Y (the Y apparently stands for "You"). The company has unveiled its new selfie centric smartphones Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite in India with top-notch hardware. In terms of pricing, both the phones Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite are priced below Rs 10,000.
The latest flagship phones are equipped with high-end features like 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage or 21MP camera but the battery capacity of the phone is also equally important. So far, the maximum battery available in few medium priced Chinese phones is 5000mAH. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo had released 4GB RAM model of its selfie-focussed smartphone Oppo F5 earlier this month. Its 6GB RAM variant is up for preorder exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone would be available for sale from 1 December onwards and it has been priced at Rs 24,990. The handset will be available to buy in Black and Red colour variants.
