Asus Zenfone 5Z with 6GB RAM is available at Rs 29,999
TheTaiwanese brand ASUS launched its latest flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone 5Z in India last week. It is priced at Rs 29,999 to give stiff competition to its rivals – OnePlus 6 and Honor 10 and can be exclusively purchased online on Flipkart.

The company has launched three variants of its flagship device in India – 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB (priced at Rs 32,999) and 8GB+256GB (priced at Rs 36,999). The base model having 6GB+64GB storage is the most affordable one and its price is Rs 5000 lower than that of OnePlus 6 with same specifications. The premium variant of ZenFone 5Z variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage is priced at Rs.36,999 in India and will be available next week. Flipkart is also offering a flat Rs 3000 instant discount on payment through ICICI bank credit card and exchange discount of up to Rs 14,700 on the 64GB storage variant. Also, Axis Bank Buzz credit card holders will get additional 5% off on the ZenFone 5Z.

The device sports a bigger 6.2 inch Full HD+ display having 1080 x 2246 resolution which will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass against scratches and accidental mishaps. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s most advanced chipset – Snapdragon 845 clocked at 2.8 GHz along with an Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with an Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE) that has incorporated wide range of AI-powered features in the smartphone. It runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo-based ZenUI 5.0 out of the box. In terms of optic department, it sports 8MP front-facing camera with 83-degree wide-angle lens for clicking selfies and a 12MP (with Sony sensor) + 8MP dual rear camera. The secondary 8MP sensor is coupled with a 120-degree wide-angle f/2.0 aperture lens to ensure bokeh mode and for taking depth photos.The additional camera features supported are Dual Pixel PDAF, 4-axis optical image stabilization, electronic image stabilization.
