Honor 7C with Bezel-less Display, Face Unlock Launched

Chinese handset manufacturer Honor has launched a budget phone Honor 7C in China. This premium looking device sports a bezel-less HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. It also supports other advanced features like Face Unlock, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a dual-rear camera setup (13MP + 2MP). The phone will be available for sale in China from March 13 onwards and will come in four colour options- black, red, blue and gold.

Honor 7C runs on EMUI 8.0 interface based on Android 8.0 operating system. It features a 5.99-inch HD+ display with a pixel density of 268ppi, resolution of 720x1440 pixels with good colour reproduction which offers great viewing experience to the user. The panel is furthermore protected by 2.5D curved glass for enhanced durability. This dual SIM device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU to ensure seamless working and smooth multitasking. It comes with 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage expandable via dedicated microSD card. In terms of optics, it sports a dual camera (13MP + 2MP) at the rear with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. The front facing 8MP captures great selfiesbut lacks a dedicated selfie flash. The cameras supports portrait mode effect on both the front as well as back. The device is backed by 3000mAH battery and includes the connectivity options such as 4G LTE, 3G, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro-USB, and FM Radio.

Honor 7C will be available in two variants- 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant priced in China at CNY 899 (approx Rs. 9,200) whereas the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model will be sold for CNY 1,299 (around Rs. 13,400).
