Asus launches new Zenfone 5 series which looks like the iPhone X

There is a great news for iPhone X lovers. Asus has recently launched its new Zenfone 5 series of smartphones : Zenfone 5Z, Zenfone 5 and the Zenfone 5 Lite with different price ranges. Out of the these three, the first two Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone 5 closely resemble iPhone X in terms of design and style whereas Zenfone Lite has a bezel-less look with an 18:9 aspect ratio. All of them are equipped with advanced “AI features” making them the “most intelligent Zenfone series ever”.

Both Zenfone 5 and 5Z sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ IPS display with 19:9 viewing ratio, 3300 mAh battery with quick charging and a dual camera (12MP+8MP) with 120-degree wide angle support for clicking high quality portrait shots. In terms of hardware specs, Zenfone 5 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage whereas Zenfone 5Z is backed by octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor paired with a 8GB of RAM and maximum of 256GB of storage space. However, the Zenfone 5 Lite packs a Snapdragon 630 processor along with a 4GB RAM and sports a wide FHD+ display having 2160x1080 resolution.

Asus will be offering these phones between the price range of 30-35K which is even less than half the price of iPhone X. Zenfone 5 Lite is expected to be available in the market in mid-March, Zenfone 5 in April and the premium phone 5Z will be available most probably in June this year in multiple colour options like Midnight blue and Silver.
