Samsung launches air purifiers models AX7000, AX3000 in India starting at Rs 15,490
In recent times, the air quality has drastically dropped in the major cities of our country. Hence, the people are going for high quality air purifiers to ensure their health safety. There are number of reputed brands dealing in them including Philips, Xiaomi, Honeywell, Kent, LG, Sharp, Blue Air etc. The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has expanded its portfolio of consumer electronics by venturing into the air purifier market. The company has launched two 'premium' air purifiers Samsung AX3000 and AX7000 which are equipped with advanced PM 2.5 mechanical filters for faster and more effective air purification with higher Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR). They are priced at Rs. 15,490 and Rs. 41,990 respectively.
The high-end air purifier AX7000 can cover wider area upto 93 sq meters through its three way air flow technology and consume around 80 Watt power. They are designed to counter indoor pollution effectively with minimum power consumption with their four step filtration system (Pre Filter, PM 2.5 Filter, Activated Carbon+ Deodorization Filter and Virus Doctor) and dual power fans which work together for speedy results. This high-end model is claimed to trap 99% of minisicule pollutants and harmful particles in the air. It comes with digital inverter motor for enhanced durability and higher efficiency for longer time period. The other features included are digital display and led indicator which informs the users about the air quality, fan speed and much more. However, for lesser area upto 39 sq meter area (bedroom), AX3000 is best suited. It only comes with LED indicators, four step air filtration mechanism for great results and consume only 34 W of power.

Samsung air purifier will face stiff competition from Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 which is priced at Rs. 8999 and has 360-degree cylindrical filter that takes air more efficiently from each and every direction.
