Huawei P9 Overview
Huawei P9 is a top of the line device from the chinese manufacturer Huawei. Announced in April 2016, it makes its way into India on 18th August on Flipkart. The phone has mid-range hardware, but the showstopper is the Dual Rear Camaras made in collaboration with Leica, the renowned optics and camera brand from Germany. The company places Huawei P9 against the popular Samsung Galaxy S7 and Apple iPhone 6s phone series.
Specifications
The hardware is an Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 955 Chipset and the phone comes in India with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Operating system is Andriod 6.0 Marshmallow in background and a Huawei Emotion User Interface. The latest LTE Bands are supported. Bluetooth support is for 4.1 version with low energy mode for a longer battery life. The dual rear camera setup means that there is an array of two rear cameras for depth in photography and realistic colours. Dual cameras also enabe change in aperture after the picture has been clicked. Though this feature was introduced earlier by HTC and is in LG G5, Leica lens and optics technology promises good results. Lack of image stabilisation is one feature which will be definitely missed. The phone comes in three color variants Grey, Silver and Gold.
