Display and Design

LG Nexus 5X is sturdy, slimmer, light in weight but has plastic look. OnePlus 2 has premium looks with metal frame and sandstone finish back as compared to Nexus 5X . Both smartphones have fingerprint scanners which are fast, accurate and quite helpful. In Nexus 5X, fingerprint scanner is at the back whereas in OnePlus 2, the home button on the front serves dual purpose as fingerprint sensor as well. Nexus 5X has smaller screen but offers better picture quality as it has higher pixel density (424ppi) than OnePlus 2.

Performance

OnePlus 2 has more powerful configuration with Snapdragon 810 processor backed by 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB storage. On the other hand, Nexus 5X is powered by Snapdragon 808 processor with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and only 16GB storage. Due to limited storage, Nexus 5X is not suitable for high-end gaming. In terms of software, Nexus 5X scores better.

Camera and other Features

In terms of camera quality, cameras of both the phones will not dissapoint you. Still on comparing, we feel LG Nexus 5X scores better as it uses Sony IMX377 sensor – 12.3 MP main camera with features like laser autofocus, dual-tone LED flash. It has 5MP front camera for selfies and video chats as compared to 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera of OnePlus 2. OnePlus 2 provides better battery life with larger 3300mAh non-removable battery than smaller 2700mAh non-removable battery available in Nexus 5X. LG Nexus 5X is also NFC compatible.

Conclusion

We have elaborated the features and specifications of both OnePlus 2 and Nexus 5X, so it is the users choice which one to choose. Howsoever, OnePlus 2 has a slight edge over Nexus 5X in terms of design and hardware specifications.
