Now the festive season is over and the smartphone manufactureres are ready with some exciting smartphone launches in this November month 2017. Starting from Google's new Pixel phones to iPhone X, lot of interesting devices with high-end features and specifications are all set to arrive in current month. If you missed out on festival season discounts on mobile phones, then don't be disheartened as lot of budget and flagship phones with the latest 18:9 screen aspect ratio displays, thinner bezels, high resolution cameras and more features are lined up for a November launch.
1. OnePlus 5T
Last year in December, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer had launched OnePlus 3 and its refined version OnePlus 3T. Similarly, this year too the company is expected to launch its latest flagship phone OnePlus 5T with upgraded features this month. OnePlus 5T is expected to come with a high-end specifications like bezel-less 6-inch display having a screen resolution of 2160x1080 pixels, 18:9 display ratio, powerful battery and enhanced camera performance. It is also rumoured to be packed with robust configuration like Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled by 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and will also run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
Apple iPhone X is tenth anniversary edition offered by the company and is also the most expensive iPhone till date. Despite iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus having impressive design and wireless charging, iPhone X is the most awaited one. It will be available in India from November 3 onwards.
The key highlights of this flagship device are 5.8-inch OLED ‘Super Retina’ edge-to-edge display, Apple A11 Bionic chipset and new Face ID (a face recognition system which Apple claims is more secure than its Touch ID). Rest of the features are same as that of iPhone 8 Plus such as Apple A11 Bionic chipset with 3GB RAM, 12MP dual rear camera setup with dual OIS, 7MP selfie camera and will be running on advanced iOS 11 out of the box. It will be fuelled by 2700mAH non-removable battery and feature wireless charging support. It will be available in 64GB and 256GB storage options.
3. Oppo F5
Oppo F5 is making its debut in India on November 2 and is equipped with great specifications like MediaTek Helio P23 chipset along with 4GB or 6GB RAM, high resolution edge-to-edge display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Besides having high resolution 2K display, it also features AI based beauty recognition feature which will beautify your selfies using 200 types of skin tone and beautification types.
In terms of optics, Oppo F5 will come with a 20 megapixel front shooter and a 16 megapixel rear camera like its predecessor. It will be powered by a massive 4,000mAh battery. The company might introduce three versions of Oppo F5- Oppo F5 Youth, Oppo F5, and Oppo F5 6GB.
4. Google Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL
These two latest phones by Google - Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are being manufactured by HTC and LG respectively. Both of them are equipped with similar hardware and software specifications and differ slightly in display type and battery size.
While the Pixel 2 comes with a 5-inch full HD AMOLED display, Pixel 2 XL boasts of a gigantic 6-inch Quad HD+ 2K bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. In terms of battery, the Pixel 2XL has 3520mAh battery which is 820mAh more powerful than the Pixel 2. Both these devices will be powered by a 2.35GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM, a 12.2 megapixel primary camera and an 8 megapixel selfie-shooter. They will be available in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will be available for purchase in India from November 1 and November 15, respectively. Their pre-booking has already started from October 26 on Flipkart.
5. Moto X4
Motorola unveiled its latest mid-range flagship phone, Moto X4 in the month of September and will be launching it in India on 13th November. This is the first Motorola phone to be part of Google’s Android One project. The device is packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset paired with Adreno 508 GPU. It will be available in two variants- 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB.
It will feature a 5.2 inch FHD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla glass protection. In terms of camera specifications, there is a dual rear camera (12MP+8MP) and 16MP front facing snapper with a front LED flash. It will boot on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will be powered by a 3000mAH battery.
With so many exciting releases happening in November 2017, it’s going to be an eventful month for smartphone enthusiasts and prospective buyers.
