Vivo will be launching new range of premium phones under its new iQOO sub-brand. The first flagship phone Vivo iQOO was unveiled in China on March 1, 2019 and will be launched in India in second quarter in the month of May or June. The gaming-focussed smartphone will be having strong aluminium and glass build and deliver powerful performance. Nonetheless, it is being teased as "born powerful" and "monster inside" in the marketing campaigns and advertisements. The phone will be available in multiple configuration options including 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128/256 GB onboard storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. In terms of graphics, it features Adreno 640 GPU for super graphic experience. With minimum storage option of 128GB which is quite a lot to store photos, videos and multiple files of the user. The 128GB storage can be further expanded upto 256GB via a microSD card. In terms of software, it boots on pre-installed Android 9 Pie with customised FunTouch UI skin over it which offers numerous customization features to the user.
Battery & Connectivity :
Vivo iQOO is backed by massive 4000 mAH Li-ion battery which will offer uninterrupted working for more than a day of normal usage. The battery comes with Vivo’s own 44W super fast Flash charging technology which is much faster than any other fast charging technology offered by companies like Huawei and OnePlus and charges the device from zero to 100% in about 45 minutes. The device supports dual SIM functionality with support for 4G LTE and VoLTE on both the slots. The other network connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, Mobile Hotspot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS/ GLONASS, gigabit Wi-Fi ax/ac/b/g/n and Wi-Fi Direct. Its most awaited and monster variant (12GB RAM + 256GB) will be priced at Rs 45,000. The former two variants come in Electro-optic blue and Lava orange color options whereas the latter ones will be in Electro-optic hue color.
