Oppo F5 with AI powered camera, 6GB RAM launched

The selfie experts Vivo and Oppo have been competing with each other to establish their foothold in the budget smartphone market. Recently, Oppo has launched its latest flagship phone Oppo F5 which is the successor of Oppo F3 in Philippines. The USP of this phone is its AI (artificial intelligence) powered selfie camera and 6GB RAM. This is the first device from the company to sport a bezel-less design. It sports an impressive looking unibody metal design having 6-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 402 ppi pixel density. It comes in multiple colour options such as Black, Gold, Red. There are two variants of this phone - one having 32GB + 4GB RAM and other having 64GB + 6GB RAM.

In terms of performance, Oppo F5 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6763T chipset clocked at 2.2GHz along with Mali-G71 MP2 GPU for enhanced gaming experience. Besides this, the smartphone boots on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system based on customized ColorOS 3.2 UI for awesome user experience. On storage front, the phone comes in two variants having 32GB and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded upto 128GB via microSD card slot. Their camera performance is great with 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and its 20-megapixel front-facing snapper is equipped with A.I. beauty recognition technology that scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly and also offers improved results with a Bokeh effect. Like premium iPhone X phone, the user can quickly unlock this phone using face unlock feature embedded in front camera. The device is fuelled by non-removable built-in Li-ion 3200mAH battery and support various connectivity options including dual-band WiFi support, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, 2G, LTE band support, fingerprint sensor and micro USB port for charging and data transfer. It is also equipped with O-share file sharing technology that provides 100 times faster transfers in comparison to Bluetooth.
