Reliance Jio Phone

Reliance Jio Phone is the company’s first affordable 4G feature phone and entered the Indian smartphone market in the July 2017. It stands between a featured phone and a smartphone with the traditional keypad design and decent features such as VoLTE support, advanced OS, and support for JIO apps. Initially, the phone was available for Rs 0 with a security deposit of Rs 1500 which will be refunded at the time of return of the phone at Jio stores after three years. This single SIM (Nano SIM) device is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM, Cortex A7 GPU and 4GB of internal storage that is further expandable upto 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of optic department, the Jio Phone packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear panel with digital zoom feature and a 0.3-megapixel front snapper for selfie clicks. Jio Phone boots on KAI operating system and is fuelled by a 2000mAH removable battery. In terms of connectivity feature, it supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Headphones, FM and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). This upcoming Reliance phone will be its second smartphone model with a QWERTY keyboard, as well as Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube applications and would be available for purchase from 15th August 2018 for Rs 2,999.
